The standard glass lenses of Sunphey are used by our customers to replace damaged the glass lenses of high-end famous brands or develop the fashionable products with the same quality as that of high-end brands. These are high-quality optical glasses developed by Sunphey in conformity with UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI ISO14001. They have the same quality as that of the glass lenses of high-end name brand sunglasses and are the ideal optical materials for our observations of the world and ophthalmology. The standard lenses are classified into grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 according to different filter categories and have different light transmissions. They are all coated with reflection reducing coating, protected against blue light, hydrophobic, excellent in anti-fouling and anti-oil performance and are easy to maintain and ensure a clear and comfortable visions. Meanwhile, the standard glass lenses offer the functions of intercepting UV, glare and infrared to choose from for maximum satisfaction of the requirements of different customers.

We apply ratiation-resistant and reflection reducing AR coating onto the inside of standard lenses, which can reduce the interference of the sight line from the light that gets in from behand and is reflected into the eyes through the inside of sunglass lenses. The bending of sunglass lenses is 400-1000 basically. When two radians are parallel or close to each other, they will not cause no additional luminosity or dizziness. But the lenses that have an excessive radian can cause additional diopter when worn to result in dizziness. Our researches and tests have found that Base 600 suits human eyes the best.

Lens of category 1 are basically white or light-color lenses for sunglasses. With a light transmittance of higher than 44%, they are not frequently used;

Lenses of category 2 are usually used in the lower part of progressive lenses, with a light transmittance of 18%-44%;

Lenses of category 3 are most frequently used, with a light transmittance of 8%-18%;

Lenses of category 4 are used only in equatorial countries or special purposes, with a light transmittance of <8%.

In light of spectroscopy, the sunproof function of sunglasses and the considerations of ophthalmological medicine, grey, green and light brown lenses are optimal for anti-radiation glasses, for these colors are the least possible to distort the original colors and lines. Instead, they enable the eyes to see the richest color gradation and correct lines of scenes.

Grey can evenly absorb any color spectrum. Therefore, the scenes seen through the color will have no chromatic aberration, but will turn dark only to exhibit a true feeling of nature.

Brown ca filter lots of blue light and improve visual contrast and clarity;

Green belongs to neutral color system just like grey and can increase the green light that reaches the eyes. Therefore, it makes people feel cool and comfortable and is suitable for people with eyes that get tired easily.

Attention should be paid not only to the quality of single lenses, but also to the colors, even parameters and consistently stable processing quality of the left and right lenses. Otherwise, problems of “chromatic aberration” and “visual difference” will take place between the two lenses.
